Austin's $100 Art Box Show November 29th. Call to Artists.
Come One. Come All. This Holiday Show is open to everyone. Get Some exposure.
The Concept: The $100 Box Show. Take a 12x12 panel (art box), give it to 150-200 artists, students and creative types and bring it all together in November for a huge, kick ass Show. Two galleries in Houston have made this annual Holiday Show Huge success and we are bring it here.
Boxes ($10) are ready foe pick up. Purchase as many as you wish. They are $10 each. Go overboard. Go freakin crazy. There are no limits. Submit as many as you wish. Simply drop off your finished box November 17-27th from 11am-4pm, 7-10pm.
We sell the art for $100. The artist receives $50. A Charity receives 10%.
We are publicizing it with several magazines and ads throughout Austin. All schools, art classes/departments, groups and organizations are invited.
UT Art Department, Zilker Elementary, Girls School of Austin are a few groups participating.
We will have Art Box Pick up at the Studios and also this Sunday outside Alamo Drafthouse located near S. Lamar and Threadwell from 12-2pm if you can't make it to the studio. Flyers, postcards, online updates are available 10/15th.
